The risk sheet

Seven lines, filled before the pattern gets a vote.

This is the page used on the Intensive, at a Desk Review, and on Saturday morning. It is paper. You can copy the order into any notebook.

A blank cream sheet and a copper pencil on smoked glass, with the corner of an unlabeled chart
A blank sheet at the start of an evening. The lines below are the ones we add by hand.
  1. 01

Name the setup in your own words

One sentence, without a textbook label if the label is doing the thinking for you. If you cannot say what you see, the later lines have nothing to serve.

  2. 02

The price that proves it wrong

The invalidation. A level you can point to on the chart. How much pain feels acceptable is a poor guide, and a line drawn only to protect a preferred lot size comes off the page.

  3. 03

    Distance

From the price where you would act to the invalidation, measured in the units of that chart. A gap after a holiday is part of the distance if your level sits on the other side of it.

  4. 04

Baht at risk if that price is hit

A number you decided before you admired the pattern. The Intensive asks you to bring this figure on the first evening.

  5. 05

    Quantity

The planned loss divided by the distance, adjusted for a rough fee if you know it. A wider invalidation produces a smaller quantity. We do not reverse the sum to flatter the size.

  6. 06

    Weekly loss still unused

The cap for the week, minus what earlier ideas have already spent. If the remainder is smaller than line 04, this idea waits.

  7. 07

    A reason to stand aside

Even when the pattern is tidy: the cap is spent, the invalidation is a wish, the chart is too wide for the loss you can stand, or you cannot say the setup in one sentence.

The October Intensive walks a full sheet across four evenings. The Saturday studio fills lines 02 through 05 on three shared charts. A Desk Review marks up a sheet you already keep.
